The 16-time Grand Slam champion finished the match with only 11 unforced errors, half as many as Tsonga, but it didn't help him get close to breaking Tsonga's serve when he needed it.In the next round, Tsonga will face second-seeded Novak Djokovic, who defeated 18-year-old Australian qualifier Bernard Tomic 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.

Being under house arrest seems to have an upside for Lindsay Lohan.

The 24-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan says that since being confined to her 3,000-square-foot home in Venice Beach, Calif., she's caught up on movies and TV shows, stayed out of the public eye and, most important, had time to finish decorating her house and patio."I probably wouldn't have done it had I not been home," Lohan says in an interview in Life & Style magazine, on newsstands Friday.

Lohan says that while not ideal, she treasures these moments alone in her home."There are so many things you can do," she says. "It's a nice way to just be reading scripts and focusing on what I'm going to do next."But Lohan says she cannot wait to resume doing things that she had taken for granted, like walking in the neighborhood, going shopping or dining out. Her recent request to leave her home to attend her brother's 16th birthday party was denied, she says, which "bummed her out."

In the interview, Lohan also addresses criticism that she got off easy with house arrest by saying it's a common punishment. She says it's a better alternative to a 12-by-8-foot jail cell at the Lynwood facility.

Thousands in Portland take to bikes for naked ride.

It was a typical early summer evening in Portland. Thousands of naked bicyclists gathered near the city's waterfront for a clothing-free night ride. The Portland version of the World Naked Bike Ride was about to begin.World Naked Bike Ride is a globally observed event among hard-core bikers designed, at least ostensibly, to promote the use of the bicycle for transportation. But Portland cyclists have been especially adamant about making it another of the Pacific Northwest city's quirky traditions.Since the World Naked Bike Ride started in 2004, only four other cities -- San Francisco, Seattle, and Boulder and Black Rock City in Colorado -- have celebrated it every year. The Portland nudist/cyclists have turned the event into a festival, with a pre-ride event and post-ride parties featuring both clothed and naked partying which lasts well into the night.

Portland Police don't arrest the naked riders. They cite the city's extremely tolerant public indecency code as permitting such activities as mass nude cycling.

"I'm not sure if it should be legalized, if it would really affect, with the drug war. I mean, it's abused today, unfortunately, so that's the only reason why I would kind of be a little bit against it, but medically it's OK."

The Sundarban covers an area of 38,500 sq km, of which about one-third is covered in water.
